Privacy Policy

What you type into the form. Who the clip is for (yourself, a friend, or a group), the name or nickname you enter, the reasons you pick, anything you write in the free-text box, and the length you choose. Whatever you put in those fields is what we receive — so please don’t enter anyone’s sensitive personal information.

What we generate. The script written for your clip and the audio file produced from it.

Technical information. Your IP address, which we use to enforce the free-usage limit and to detect abuse. The IP address of the person who creates a clip is stored alongside that clip. Ordinary server logs also record request information such as timestamps, requested URLs, and browser user-agent.

Clip activity. Counts of how many times a clip page was opened, whether playback was started, how many times it was played through, and how many times the share button was used. These are counters attached to the clip — they don’t identify the listener.

Aggregate site analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics service to see which pages get traffic. It does not use cookies and does not build a cross-site profile of you.

• To write, voice, store, and deliver the clip you asked for.
• To enforce the free-usage limit and to detect, investigate, and block abuse of the service.
• To screen scripts against our content rules before they are voiced.
• To keep the service working — debugging, monitoring, and measuring which features people actually use.
• To comply with the law and to respond to valid legal requests.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

TigerMomSays does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a small amount of data locally on your device so the site behaves correctly:

• your light / dark / system appearance preference;
• how many clips you have made in the current window, so the counter is right when you come back;
• a short-lived flag, for the current tab only, so the celebration animation doesn’t replay every time you revisit a clip.

This data stays on your device, is never sent to us as a profile, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

We use a small number of third-party service providers to run TigerMomSays. They process data on our instructions and only for these purposes:

• AI text generation — receives the details you submit in order to write and check the script.
• AI speech synthesis — receives the finished script in order to generate the audio.
• Database and file storage — stores the clip record and the audio file.
• Rate limiting — stores short-lived counters keyed to your IP address to enforce the usage limit.
• Hosting and analytics — serves the site and measures aggregate traffic without cookies.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. We may add or change providers as the service evolves. If you want to know which providers we currently use, email hello@tigermomsays.com and we will tell you.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect the rights and safety of people using the service.

Every clip gets a long, randomly generated link. It isn’t listed anywhere and we ask search engines not to index clip pages, but anyone who has the link can open and listen to the clip. If you forward it, post it, or paste it into a group chat, everyone who sees it can hear the clip and the name in it. Please only share links with people you mean to.

Share links stop working about 48 hours after a clip is created. After that the link returns nothing, even to you. If you want to keep a clip, download the file while the link is live.

The underlying record and audio — the form input, the script, the file, the creator IP address, and the activity counters — may be retained for a limited period after the link expires so we can investigate abuse, debug problems, and improve the service. We delete this data when it is no longer needed for those purposes, or sooner if you ask.

Usage-limit counters expire automatically within the 12-hour window they belong to.

Because there are no accounts, we have no way to look up “your” data by identity. To ask for a copy of a clip’s data or to have it deleted, email hello@tigermomsays.com and include the share link — that is how we find the record. If a clip is about you and you want it removed, send us the link and we will review and take it down where appropriate.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, and to complain to your data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising them. You can also clear the site’s local storage in your browser at any time.

TigerMomSays is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Audio is stored in a private bucket and served only through short-lived signed links, and access to our systems is limited. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Our providers operate in the United States and elsewhere. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and material changes take effect when posted.
